The programme ‘Support for Civil Society Organisations piloting initiatives’ aims to strengthen youth as actors of governance and development, and foster youth inclusion and empowerment by piloting proposal emerging from the AU-EU Youth Cooperation Hub (an innovative model for youth inclusion).
7 pilot projects have been awarded under multiple fields: Culture, Arts, and Sports; Peace and Security; Governance and Political Inclusion (Accountability); Governance and Political Inclusion (Remittances); Environment Preservation and Climate Change; Education and Skills; Business, Job Creation and Entrepreneurship.
The project “ArtsXchange: connecting creative youth in Africa and Europe” bases its action in Kenya, Somalia, Sweden, and Italy. It is led by the Comitato Internazionale per lo Sviluppo dei Popoli (CISPI).
The project will:
- Develop a digital platform to enhance access to professional networks and market opportunities for young creatives, helping to turn passion into sustainable businesses
- Organise two cultural festivals to strengthen relations and cultural exchanges among African and European Youth
